At 19 o'clock all athletes are requested to gather near the Race Office for the sail parade – national flags of DEN, EST, FIN, GBR, GER, ITA, LAT, LTU, NED, POL, ROU, RUS and SWE are awaiting for their sailors! The athletes representing their countries will arrive at the Opening Ceremony in a procession, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Estonian Defence Forces!
The Opening Ceremony of the regatta shall entail speeches, hoisting the flag of the Alexela ORC World Championship and lighting the symbolic Olympic flame for this one evening as the flame goes out in Tokyo. As the event takes place outdoors, please choose your attire accordingly.
SHOW - the grand opening will be complete with a show of folk and street dance and young acrobats. This ethnofuturistic performance will be followed by festivities and music featuring Dawhy Not and DJ Tom Lilienthal.
